As Libya’s state-owned oil company, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) holds the monopoly over the oil and gas production in the country. It is the dominant oil player in Libya, along with its smaller subsidiaries, which together account for approximately 70 percent of Libya’s oil production.
Among its operations, NOC is engaged in the exploration, development, production, refining, and processing of oil and gas. Further, they offer other services to the industry, including catering, procurement of materials and equipment, training and employment of foreign labor.
